Yes — Lil Baby smokes weed, and he's never hidden it. He's talked about it on Instagram Live, it made headlines when he was stopped in Paris in 2021, and today he has his own weed brand: WHAM. Here's what's on the record, and how it became the brand.

Lil Baby doesn't just rap about weed — he put his name on it. That's WHAM.

What Lil Baby has said about smoking

Lil Baby has been open about smoking for years. In an Instagram Live session covered by HipHopDX, he talked about his money, what he charges for a guest verse, and his love of smoking — and, as High Times put it, it's no secret to fans that he smokes. For an Atlanta artist whose music is about the come-up, weed has never been a secret or a punchline. It's part of the life.

The Paris stop in 2021

The most-reported moment came in July 2021, during Paris Fashion Week. Police stopped the car Lil Baby was riding in, in central Paris, searched it and found cannabis. According to Rolling Stone, he was detained and released from custody the next day after being fined. NBA star James Harden, who was with him, was searched but not arrested.

Cannabis is illegal in France, which is why a few grams turned into a headline. Back home in the US, hemp-derived THC is a different story — it's sold online and shipped across the country, which is exactly what WHAM does.

Does Lil Baby vape?

Lil Baby hasn't said much publicly about vaping — what he's talked about is smoking. If you'd rather vape, his brand covers that too: the WHAM Duo 2g and WHAM Thunder 3g are the easy picks. See all WHAM disposables.

From smoking to his own brand: WHAM

Plenty of artists smoke. Few put their name on what's in the jar. WHAM is Lil Baby's official weed brand, named after his No. 1 album WHAM — it stands for "Who Hard As Me". It's sold at the official store, whamlilbaby.com, and ships to all 50 states with no medical card needed.

• Flower — the best seller is Rainbow Zugati; the strongest listed is Alien ET at 30.4% THCa. See what strain Lil Baby's weed is.

• Strength — WHAM flower lists from the low 20s to 30%+ THCa. The full breakdown is in is Lil Baby's weed strong?.
