What Does WHAM Stand For? The Meaning Behind Lil Baby's Weed Brand
WHAM stands for "Who Hard As Me." It's the title of Lil Baby's No. 1 album and the name of his official weed brand. Here's where the name comes from and what it means on the jar.
WHAM stands for "Who Hard As Me." It's the title of Lil Baby's fourth studio album, released January 3, 2025, and the name of his official weed brand. Same four letters on the album cover and on the jar — here's what they mean and how the two connect.
WHAM = Who Hard As Me. A question that's really a statement.
What "Who Hard As Me" means
It's a challenge. "Who hard as me?" asks who's working harder, who's more consistent, who's holding a higher standard — and the answer implied is nobody. For Lil Baby it's a line about work ethic: the come-up from Atlanta's Oakland City to the top of the charts wasn't luck.
The name also closes a chapter. WHAM is the fourth and final instalment of Lil Baby's Hard series, which runs back to his 2018 debut studio album, Harder Than Ever. Read as a set, the titles tell the story: getting hard, getting harder, and finally asking who can match it.
WHAM the album
Released — January 3, 2025.
What it is — Lil Baby's fourth studio album.
Chart debut — No. 1 on the US Billboard 200, his fourth No. 1 album.

The album then went on the road as the WHAM World Tour. For how the tour and the brand line up, see WHAM World Tour 2026.
WHAM the weed brand
WHAM is also the name of Lil Baby's official weed brand. The name wasn't picked at random: the standard the album title sets is the one the brand is held to. If the name on the jar asks "who hard as me," the flower inside has to back it up.

Album first, brand second — same name on purpose
People often ask whether WHAM is the album or the weed. It's both, and that's the point. The album put the phrase on the charts; the brand put it on a product you can hold. Lil Baby's story is covered in full in WHAM by Lil Baby: the brand story and on the Who is Lil Baby page.
