1. Start in the right catalogue

3. Demand the right paperwork
Ask for the COA for the exact batch you are buying. Not a sample COA, not last quarter's. It should show delta-9 THC under 0.3% by dry weight alongside a contaminant panel. 4. Place a small first order
Buy one tier below what you think you need. A first order is a test of the supplier as much as the product — freshness on arrival, packaging, how fast it ships, whether the COA matches what turned up. Reorder deeper once that is proven.

5. Work out whether the tier actually pays
The number that matters is not the price per pound, it is your landed cost per gram against what you can realistically charge. Divide the tier price by 453.6, then add shipping, packaging and the shrinkage you will inevitably carry. That figure is the one to compare, and it is why a cheaper pound that arrives dry is often the more expensive purchase.
